The lessons offered by Faulu help to supplement the education primary school children get in their schools, as far too often they are not able to attend or fall behind because of vast class sizes. Trying to improve the education of more than 50 students, Faulu is dependent on the grace and generosity of churches, but they were often busy so lessons would be held under a tree, hiding in the bit of shadow of a building, or cancelled. Classrooms seemed to be the answer and we were overwhelmed by the donations that wanted to help build three classrooms to ensure that these kids (and some of their younger siblings in tow) are reliable learning space free from the harsh sun, wind, dust, and the only very occasional but strong rain.

The building commences! Used local labour to fetch and carry to help, before an engineer started the erection process.

Matching team colours! The second of two classrooms been built so primary school children will have a reliable roof over their heads for learning.

And there we have it! Two Rooms finished and painted, starting to look good, but more on way....target 3 classrooms, building 3 classrooms.
